About
The University of Primorska has achieved one of the goals for its Medium-Term Development Strategy 2021–2027 and has become a member of the Transform4Europe university organisation.
T4E connects universities from different European border regions of different sizes and fields of expertise. The connecting factor is their shared vision for the development of European higher education, which must become a key element in shaping Europe’s future. They share a strong focus on students and collaboration with their communities.
11 universities from different countries have joined forces to create the Transform4Europe European University They are located in border areas where major changes are taking place, and universities are an important driver of this transformation.
Together, they bring together more than 150,000 students and more than 10,000 researchers, creating a multilingual, multi-national campus with joint curricula, courses, research projects, events at all locations, and many other initiatives.

On Thursday, 21 November 2024, the Faculty of Education at the University of Primorska (UP PEF) celebrated its 50th anniversary with a festive event at the Koper Theatre.
