Jean Monnet University will organise the first T4EU Matchmaking Event and Doctoral Seminar this November. The event will take place between 13 and 14 November under the theme "AI and Society: Reasearchers' Commitment to Positive Transformation".
The event is open to researchers, young researchers and PhD students who want to expand their circle of acquaintance in the field of artificial intelligence.

The deadline for applications is 10 October 2024

The number of participants is limited to up to eight candidates.

UP marked the first Day of Science with the Gallery of Zois Award Laureates of UP
In 2025, we will celebrate Slovenian Science Day for the first time. The Slovenian government approved this holiday in March 2025, and it will be celebrated every year on November 10. At this year’s 13th IZIS Festival, organized for many years by the Cultural and Educational Association Pina from Koper, artworks by students of the Visual Arts and Design program at the University of Primorska Faculty of Education (UP PEF) are being exhibited for the first time.

Autumn graduation ceremony for doctors of science at the UP
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the UP held its autumn graduation ceremony for doctors of science. Among the newly awarded Doctors of Science is also Dr. Marianna Gergely from the University of Primorska, Faculty of Education, who obtained her doctorate in the doctoral study programme Educational Sciences.
