Lifelong learning
The Centre for Lifelong Learning UP PEF was established with the aim of expanding knowledge. The university teachers employed at the faculty cover a wide range of scientific fields and can contribute significantly to the development of the knowledge society at both regional and national level with their competences. The UP PEF offers training courses to different target groups (pupils, students, graduates, employees, elderly people).
In addition, the Centre a meeting point for graduates within the Alumni Club UP PEF and cooperates with the Career Centre of the University of Primorska.

Autumn graduation ceremony for doctors of science at the UP
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the UP held its autumn graduation ceremony for doctors of science. Among the newly awarded Doctors of Science is also Dr. Marianna Gergely from the University of Primorska, Faculty of Education, who obtained her doctorate in the doctoral study programme Educational Sciences.

Matjaž Juhart and Dr. Darjo Zuljan (UP PEF) recipients of the RS award for outstanding achievements in higher education
Matjaž Juhart received the award for his significant achievements in promoting the inclusion of the language of the deaf and the integration of deaf people, while Prof. Dr. Darjo Zuljan was recognized for his work in the field of technology education, with a focus on technological literacy.
