Moving abroad and starting a new study experience means that you have to deal with a big amount of information. Therefore, we have prepared a very special guide, where you will find all key information that every first year's student needs during the first months of study.

This year, at the UP, we are stretching the introductory days of the academic year from one day to all of the weekend. In this way, we will step into a new beginning with you in the best possible way, which will be fun, colorful, interactive, relaxed and sporty.

• On Friday, October 1, at 10 am, the Rector of the University of Primorska will officially open the new academic year via video message. Faculties will organize receptions for all students.

• On Saturday, October 2, a full-day fun and sport event will take place in Simonov zaliv in Izola.

• on Sunday, October 3, there will be a group hike to the Ears of Istria - Veli Badin orlovo gnezdo.

Rector's day

On Thursday, 21 October 2021, the University of Primorska will celebrate the Rector's Day. Instead of lectures and exercises, various sports and other events will be organized for students and employees. The program will be announced in early October
