Artistic activity

The Faculty of Education of the University of Primorska will promote artistic activities and place them in the academic area as a specific, complementary and interdisciplinary field of creation, education, and research. It will provide the environment needed for the development of cultural and artistic concepts and artistic expression and creation. By encouraging the development of artistic potential of the individual and by achieving higher levels of creativity, the UP PEF will contribute to the creation of performance and surpluses in the scientific and artistic areas. The central orientations of the development of art forms will be rooted in the cultural and aesthetic norms and values ​​of creators and performers and in the freedom of artistic expression and activity. The contemporaneity of artistic expression and performance will be recognised in the artistic processes and performing achievements, as well as in the flow of new ideas, while nurturing cultural awareness and preserving cultural and artistic heritage and identity of the individual and of the nation.
