Important things related to your lawful stay in Slovenia

The new academic year is about to start and we would like to share a few important things related  to your lawful stay in Slovenia.

The University is collaborating closely with Administrative Units and we are all trying to ease in the procedures for you. Therefore it is very important, that you follow the procedures and deadlines.

You should visit the Administrative unit in a town, where you will leave. As Koper will take a large majority of applications, further guidelines apply.

If you are applying for the first time: Appointment will be managed by the university. Please follow the above link, where you will also find a link to appointment website.

If you are prolonging your permit, you arrange an appointment on your own. Please be careful to submit application before 30 September. Otherwise, you will have to leave Slovenia. If you cannot secure an appointment, send the application with a registered post.

All students are asked to make the payment via a bank transfer before requesting for the permit.
